Fishing has been hit or miss with multiple storms and a large amount of debris and mud in the lake. Spiny fleas and then small algae blooms have created some challenges as well. With that said this past weekend once the weather leveled out proved to be one of the best weekends of the year with large catches of quality-sized lake trout and some nice landlocked salmon in the mix. The thermoclines have been changing almost daily depending on the wind and storms use of our fish hawk x4d has been critical to finding the right temperature for active fish. Fish have been coming on almost all techniques in the past week downriggers, copper, and dipsies all running a variety of different attractor sets ups. With the weather hopefully stabilizing this week catches should continue to be great. Lure colors for the week were typically green or chartreuse patterns as well as blue-greens.
