5/17/21: This weekend fishing started to pick back up with the mud and debris from the last few weeks rainstorms starting to dissipate. This weekend proved good for quality-sized landlocked salmon along with a few large brown trout, lake trout, and some nice rainbow trout starting to show back up. Water temps on the surface are still hovering between 54-58 degrees and are still holding some silvers along with lake trout in shallower water. We have preferred to run all methods flat-lining with floating stick baits, lead core setups, down rigging, and running dipsies so we are covering all the water depths. Lure colors have varied greatly each day we suggest run a variety until you lock in the day’s color.
