This weekend fishing continued to be good for quality-sized landlocked salmon along with a few brown trout, lake trout, and a pesky pike or two. Water temps dropped 2 degrees from the previous week which were holding over the weekend at around 46 degrees at the surface. Flatlining shorelines with floating stick baits continue to be our go-to method. Lure colors have varied greatly each day from bright chartreuse patterns, to smelt patterns, and some days dull colors. As the water continues to warm up so should the fishing action and with warmer temps in the forecast, we are hopeful for some great action in the near future.
